Onset time, dosing, and price per mg all come up at the counter. Keef built a ten-question Course on SparkPlug, ran it across Michigan, and had the reward budget claimed in under a day.
Keef has been making cannabis beverages since 2010. When a shopper is weighing a drink, the questions are specific: how fast the effects land, how consistent the dose is, and how the price compares once tax is in.
Those answers depend on details that are easy to get wrong, like what microemulsion actually does and why a 12oz can carries less tax in Michigan than a competitor's 16oz. Keef wanted all of it in staff hands, not just on a sell sheet.
Keef built the Course on SparkPlug with video, product cards, and infographics between each question, then pushed it to budtenders across 56 retailers and 141 Michigan locations. It covers the founding story, the full Xtreme lineup, why beverages suit certain customers, how microemulsion keeps every sip consistently dosed, the 12oz tax advantage, and sugar content against the closest competitor. Budtenders claimed the full reward budget in under 24 hours, a clear signal they wanted to learn the brand.
Nine in ten rated the Course a 5 out of 5, and 97% rated it a 4 or better. Mixing video and product graphics between questions kept a ten-question Course from feeling like homework.
One open question asked budtenders to name their favorite Keef flavor. The answers came back as a ranked list from the people who recommend the product every day.
358 budtenders across Michigan can now walk a shopper through why a cannabis drink is worth trying, and they rated the lesson 4.85 out of 5 on the way out.
