At SparkPlug, our product roadmap is driven by one core principle: listening to our users. Whether you're working in retail, sales enablement, or brand activation, we believe the best solutions come directly from the people on the ground.

That’s exactly how our latest feature—Events—was born.

Listening First: The Problem with In-Store and Field Events

When planning what to build next, we kicked things off with a series of interviews with our customers. Across the board, one theme came up again and again: challenges with running in-person events.

From pop-ups and product trainings to field team visits and brand rep walkthroughs, the same frustration surfaced:

“We scheduled the event, showed up—and no one remembered it was happening.”

These missed connections weren’t just inconvenient—they were costly. Time was lost, opportunities slipped away, and both sides left feeling out of sync.

The SparkPlug Opportunity

It became clear that there was a significant gap—not in the idea of events themselves, but in how they were managed and communicated.

SparkPlug was already helping brands and locations stay aligned on performance and incentives. So why not bring event coordination into that same trusted environment?

The opportunity was simple: make it easy for everyone to stay on the same page when it comes to live activations.

Introducing: Events

Enter Events—a feature built to streamline planning and improve visibility around in-person engagements.

With Events, teams can:

  • Schedule activations and trainings in-platform

  • Share event visibility across all stakeholders

  • Ensure everyone—managers, reps, frontline staff—is in the loop

It’s a lightweight, seamless way to avoid no-shows and confusion, and instead foster smooth, high-impact in-store or field interactions.

What’s Next?

Events is just the beginning. We’re already building new layers of functionality to support even more use cases—deeper integrations, smarter notifications, and enhanced insights.

If your team has ever shown up to an event that no one remembered—or missed out on a great opportunity due to poor coordination—we built this for you.
